Dear Dr. & Mrs.
Christopher;
I wish to take this time and express my appreciation to
you and your staff for the treatment and care I have
received over the past Six (6) months. The sincere care
and individual attention I have received. and continue
to receive, have not been matched by another treatment I
have been involved with over the past two years. The
success of your treatment and the care in which you
serve others in unspeakable.
In August of 2003, I went on Disability from the Highway
Patrol with a severe neurological disorder in the right
area of the brain. I have been treated by several
neurologists from Ohio State University, tested at the
Cleveland Clinic. went to the Michigan Head Pain and
Neurological Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. and went
through countless medical treatments with out any
success. In March of 2005, I applied for disability
retirement with the Ohio State Patrol since there have
been no successful treatment over the past year and a
half. In March of this year, I was directed to your
office for a, "last attempt" treatment before my
retirement took affect. I started treatment with you on
April 20, 2005. and I returned to full duty on June 11
2005. Without your successful treatment and care. I
would have lost a career that I truly love and have been
with over Twenty-Four (24) years. I am a true believer
in your acupuncture treatment and your sincere care of
people.
I am very impressed with you and your staff and I want
to express my appreciation to you all.
If anyone has any doubt with acupuncture treatment and
your methods of treatment. please have them contact me
and I will gladly explain the life and career you have
given back to me with your concern and treatment. Please
express my gratitude to your staff for their efforts and
thank you both again for your help and concern. May God
Bless You All.
Respectfully.

My name is Boomer. I am a DJ at New Rock 103-9 The X.
I have also been a patient at Medical Acupuncture
Associates since July of 2005. I have suffered terrible
chronic pain in my chest for the past 10 years due to a
genetic form of emphysema and subsequent (multiple)
surgeries. The pain had gotten nothing but worse,
mounting over the past 5 years to a point where I had
seen dozens of specialists and had multiple minor
procedures to try to quell the pain. It got to the point
where I was on Morphine patches and STILL experiencing
pain to the point where some days it hurt my chest
simply to wear a shirt. On those days I could barely
even function. The pain had taken over every aspect of
my being.
From the moment I came in to see Chuck and Stacy I was
encouraged that they could help my situation. They came
up with treatments that they hoped would help me ease
not only my pain but to help me off of the Morphine
patches. We began treatments immediately, and my life
soon began to change.
To be totally honest, there is much more to what I have
gotten from Stacy and Chuck than just the recession of
my pain. Physically, mentally, and emotionally they have
made my life a better place. The best hour and a half of
my week is when I am in for my treatment. I am more
relaxed on the table during treatment than at any other
point in my week. Over the course of my treatments my
pain has steadily decreased, and I am no longer on the
Morphine patches.
I owe a lot to Stacy and Chuck. Not only are they great
at what they do but they are even better people. They
care about their patients in ways that very few people
do any more. I recommend them and their practice to all
people that I meet who are having issues that
"traditional" doctors haven't been helpful. I absolutely
swear by them and their practice. And I hope that they
will be able to help you just as much as they have (and
continue to) help me.
Acupuncture really works for hot flashes
For a year I have been getting acupuncture treatments
for an unrelated medical condition. A byproduct of the
treatment has been the complete abatement of hot flashes
and sleep interruption. Due to travel, I didn't receive
an acupuncture treatment for two months .. Within a
month, the hot flashes and disturbed sleep returned,
gradually increasing in intensity and frequency. When I
returned from the trip, I could hardly wait to get an
acupuncture treatment so that these symptoms would go
away.
Acupuncture and Depression
For two years I battled severe clinical depression. I
had frequent sessions with a psychologist, endured a
failed attempt at medication (negative reaction), and
maintained constant vigilance over a rigid diet,
exercise, and life style routine. I had lost hope of
recovering any joy in living and hoped only to avoid
another plunge into the darkness. As an absolute last
resort, the psychologist suggested and I tried
acupuncture treatments. After five treatments,
administered over a month-long period, my life improved
dramatically. Now I get monthly treatments to ensure
that I never again have to battle the demon depression.
It's hard to believe that there is a prescription free
method to treat depression, but there is. I'm living
proof of that. Everyday I recognize and am thankful for
the quality of life that acupuncture has given me. It is
no exaggeration to say that acupuncture "saved my life"
Thanks to all at Medical Acupuncture!
