COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE


Cosmetic acupuncture is a non-surgical approach to skin rejuvenation. Cosmetic acupuncture leaves no incision lines, swelling or extensive bruising. It will not stretch or pull your skin unnaturally, and is only a fraction of the cost compared to surgical facelifts.

Facial Acupuncture balances the body's basic constitutional needs while rejuvenating the face. Fine lines may be entirely erased, deeper lines reduced, and sagging eye and neck areas firmed and toned. Used for centuries throughout the Far East, fine needles are placed at various pressure points on the face, neck and eye areas to stimulate chi energy.
Facial muscles tighten and lift, stimulating blood and circulation and facial tone and color is enhanced for a healthy more vibrant appearance.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese needling technique that contacts the human body's own healing energy and stimulates the body to repair and rejuvenate aging skin.

Skin aging is a progressive, inflammatory process that causes the skin to lose collagen, and to wrinkle and sag. Cosmetic acupuncture reverses this process by promoting the re-introduction of "Qi" (the body's natural healing energy) into aging skin. "Qi" (pronounced ‘chee’) allows increased blood flow to skin which increases moisture, promotes collagen production, tightens pores, reverses wrinkles, and sagging skin. Cosmetic acupuncture directly addresses the physiologic causes of skin aging. Plastic surgery, Botox injections, laser peels and collagen injections don't do that. These western approaches are an external fix to an internal problem. Cosmetic acupuncture actually arrests the skin aging and rejuvenates the skin to a more natural, youthful and healthy appearance.

The treatment regime extends over seven weeks, and includes a total of twelve treatments. It is important to understand that each individual responds differently depending upon age, health status and lifestyle. Following the initial course of treatment, intermittent maintenance sessions can prolong the results for several years. Also included in the series is a tailored supply of herbal supplements and treatments, both of which are facets of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
